Panel Manager Application

The SCL NA is inviting the Young Professionals (defined as individuals with ten or less years of professional experience) to join the planning committee of the upcoming SCL NA Conference in San Diego at Paradise Point Resort & Spa. Selected candidates (Panel Managers) will be provided with a unique opportunity to assist with the planning and execution of the technical sessions.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • SCL-NA members with ten (10) or less years of professional experience.
  • Professionally involved in the fields of construction or construction law (i.e. construction project team
    members, attorneys, consultants, insurance representatives, etc.).

Each Panel Manager will be assigned to one session with the following scope of responsibilities:

  • Attend an introductory call with the Young Professionals’ coordinator, Pasha Ameli.
  • Communicate with the panelists to provide deadlines, templates, and other guidelines.
  • Assist with various tasks on the day of the presentation, including reservation of the greenroom, time keeping during the session, etc.
  • Depending on the panel composition, there might be an opportunity for the Panel Managers to moderate their session (need for a moderator will be determined by the panelists).
